Dorotheenthaler Fayencewalzenkrug um 1733Weiß glasierte Fayence mit bunten Scharffeuerfarben bemalt. Auf der Schauseite der Wandung eine Figur in asiatischem Gewand mit Schärpe, die eine Blumenranke in der linken Hand halt. Zu beiden Seiten Landschaftssockel mit Palmen und Blüten. Henkel mit blauer Strichverzierung. Auf dem Boden in Ligatur blaue Malermarke “MB”, für Johann Martin Meiselbach, der von 1733- 1758 in der Manufaktur arbeitete. Zinnmontierung datiert “1733”. Höhe: 23 cm
White glazed faience painted with colored “Scharffeuer” paint. On the show side of the body is a figure in Asian dress with a sash, holding a flowering branch in his left hand. On both sides are landscape bases with palms and blossoms. Handle has blue stroke decorations.
On the bottom blue is the painter’s mark “MB” for Johann Martin Meiselbach who worked at the factory from 1773-1758.
Pewter mountings dated “1773”.
