Öttingen-Schrattenhofen
Öttingen-Schrattenhofener Krug um 1767Weiß glasierte Fayence mit bunten Scharffeuerfarben bemalt. Die Wandung ist durch Pilaster gegliedert und mit drei gelbumrandeten manganjaspierten Vierpaßkartuschen, in die jeweils ein Blütenzweig gemalt ist, dekoriert. In den Zwickeln bunte Behangornamente, dazwischen Streifen mit Netzwerk. Mangan jaspierter Henkel. Zinnmontierung datiert “1767”. Höhe: 24 cm Dieser Krug läßt sich auf Grund, eines in der Literatur mit Vollsignatur “Schrattenhoffen” abgebildeten Gegenstücks, eindeutig der Köhlerschen Manufaktur in Schrattenhofen (1757-1802) zuschreiben.
White glazed faience painted with colorful “Scharffeuer” paints. The body is divided by columns and decorated with three yellow bordered manganese stippled four-sided cartouches, each one painted with a branch of blossoms. In the gussets are colored hanging ornaments. Between the columns are net-decorated broad bands with dots. Manganese stippled handle.
Pewter mountings dated “1767”.

This stein, due to another like piece pictured in a literary work with the complete signature of “Schrattenhofen,” can be attributed without any doubt to the Koehler factory in Schrattenhofen (1757-1802). |
