Schrezheim
Schrezheimer Zunftkrug um 1770Weiß glasierte Fayence, die mit bunten Scharffeuerfarben bemalt ist. Die Schauseite zeigt das von zwei Löwen gehaltene Zunftzeichen der Weber und den Spruch: “Sauft Ihr Brider das bier ist guth laß es kosten rock und huth es ist das beste in der welt wan er nimt was im gefelt”. Die Seiten sind mit je einer Blume und der Henkel ist mit blauem Spiraldekor bemalt. Auf dem Boden Pfeilmarke mit Malerzeichen “J” und das Ritzzeichen “M”. Zinnmontierung. Höhe: 20,5 cm
White glazed faience painted with colored “Scharffeuer” paints. The show side depicts the guild emblem of the weavers held by two lions and the saying: “Drink brothers, the beer is good, let it cost you coat and hat, it is the best thing on earth when you take what you have been lacking”. Each side is painted with a flower and the handle with blue spirals.
On the bottom is an arrow-shaped mark with painter’s mark “J” and the incised mark “M”.
