Wetterauer Krug 1726 Datiert

Braun glasiert Hafnerkermic, die mit zweifarbigem Ritzdekor verziert ist. Die Wandung zeigt drei Sonnenblumenblüten, die Datierung “1726” und einen Spruch: “Drinck undt iß, Gott und der Armen nicht vergieß”.

Brown glazed clay ware decorated with two-colored scratch decorations. The body shows three sunflower blossoms, the date "1726" and the saying: “Drink and eat, but don’t forget God and the poor”. Pewter mountings by the Pirna Master Gottfried Felber. Height: 25 cm.
