This set of four �Bud Girls� is distinguishable from later sets primarily by its blue filigree borders and the fact that each central decoration contains the words �Bud Girl� and �Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, MO.� It should be noted that examples of the CS20/CS21 Bud Girls have been observed with blue filigree (CS10-type) borders and Ceramarte markings. However, these should be considered neither CS10, 20 nor 21.
For reasons that are not currently clear, the �red dress� Bud Girl (shown at right) appears in the market place with far greater frequency that the other three. The �fancy dress� Bud Girl (below) is the second most frequently seen. Their relative lack of rarity is generally reflected in the prices they command in the secondary marketplace.
