Frau Musica (Lady Music) is a personification of music introduced by Martin Luther in his 1538 vernacular poem subtitled Lob der Frau Musica (In Praise of Lady Music) in which he concludes that: “Next to God's Word, the noble art of music is the highest treasure in the world.”
