Cologne Cathedral is one of the world’s largest and most impressive churches. Begun in 1248, construction on the building was wasn’t fully completed until 1880. Side scenes show the biblical three kings traveling to Bethlehem, and “Jan and Grief”, the principal characters in a 17th century tale of unrequited love that takes place in and around the city of Cologne.
