Pottery, incised, 0.5L, pewter lid, signed “AM” (Albin Müller).
One of two Dümler & Breiden steins designed by German architect, educator and artist Albin Müller (1871-1941). D&B is the only manufacturer known to have used Müller’s signature logo as a base mark. A later version of this stein (bottom example) was produced circa 1925 with a speckled brown glaze, but without the “AM” signature.
