(An Edweidelweiss, the hunter’s prize.)

Edelweiss is a flower that grows on the slopes of the European Alps, often picked by men at some danger to themselves to prove their love and devotion to the women in their lives.

Central decoration is taken from an 1877 painting entitled “Abschied von der Sennerin” (Parting from the Herdswoman) by Franz Defregger (1835-1921).

This stein also carries a Thewalt mark.
