“Cinderella”

Cinderella is the title character in a classic children’s fairytale who is mistreated by her step-mother and step-sisters, but ultimately finds true love on the arms of her own Prince Charming. The story can be traced to the French folk tale Cendrillon, first published in 1697 by Charles Perrault, though antecedents can be found dating back as far as the 6th century BCE.
