The ram, or Bock, is the German symbol for Bockbier, a strong dark beer that is the first drawn from the vats in the springtime.

Also found as a reproduction from the original mold marked either 1283 or 11283 and as an unmarked special order stein for Neuweiler Brewery in Allentown, PA.
