Pottery, relief, 0.5L, pewter lid, marked �WEKARA�.

The central image on this stein depicts St. Anne�s Column, consecrated in 1706 and located in front the Innsbruck town hall, built to commemorate the withdrawal of the last Bavarian troops from the Tyrol on St. Anne�s Day on 26 July 1703 as part of the War of the Spanish Succession. Side images include the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof), named for its 2,657 fire-gilded copper roof tiles and completed in 1500 by Emperor Maximilian I to mark his wedding to Bianca Maria Sforza, as well as the statue of Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), a Tyrolean freedom fighter and national hero.

�WEKARA� is an acronym for Wilhelm E. Krumeich aus Ransbach, a Westerwald finishing shop and distributor.
