The German Warrior League (Deutscher Kriegerbund) was an association of war veterans and reservists formed in 1873 in Weißenfels, primarily to provide members with proper burial arrangements. This stein was made for the Munich branch and features a centrally placed Munich Child, a well-known symbol of the city. Side images depict the Bavaria statue in Munich, a female personification of the Bavarian state, and Germania, an ancient symbol personifying the strength, unity and liberty of Germanic peoples.

Same model number applied to a Bearded Man Jug with Coat-of-Arms.
