Catalog No. (X23)
Porcelain, figural, 0.25L, lithophane (Hofbräuhaus).
Created as the coat-of-arms or archival seal of Munich in 1239, the Münchner Kindl (Munich Child) has evolved from a hooded monk standing in front of Munich’s gate to a charming child and symbol of the city.
This stein was a special order piece made for Martin Pauson, a Munich finishing shop and distributor, and normally carries Pauson’s name on a white panel at the rear of the base.
