This Liberty head stein broke new ground by being both the first figural convention stein and the first to be manufactured outside of Germany. The Statue of Liberty on which its based is located on a 12 acre island in New York Harbor. The statue stands 305 feet tall and the head alone is said to be large enough to accommodate as many as forty people in its interior.
