Among the most of elaborate SCI convention steins, the 1977 stein was made in the shape of a beer barrel, complete with tap handle, and a central image featuring the prototypical �Jolly Steinhunter from Wisconsin� taken from the host chapter�s logo. The stein�s figural finial represents the legendary Gambrinus, �the king of beer�, long a universal symbol of beer and brewing.
