This cut-to-clear glass stein with a green overlay depicts foliage from a Buckeye tree, the state tree of Ohio. Ohio became known as the Buckeye State when buckeyes (horse chestnuts) inadvertently became a symbol for the candidacy of Ohioan William Henry Harrison during the 1840 presidential campaign. A pewter buckeye thumblift echoes the theme.
