Edelweiss is a flower that grows on the slopes of the European Alps, often picked by men at some danger to themselves to prove their love and devotion to the women in their lives.

Central decoration taken from an 1877 painting entitled “Abschied von der Sennerin” (Parting from the Herdswoman) by Franz Defregger (1835-1921).

Full-color versions are sometimes found with both Thewalt and HR (Hauber & Reuther) marks (add 25%).
