The central image depicts Cologne Cathedral, one of the world�s largest and most impressive churches. Begun in 1248, construction on the building was wasn�t fully completed until 1880. Side images show Roosters Gate (Hahnentor) and St. Severin�s Gate, two of four gates that have been preserved from the former city walls (built c. 1180-1220) and converted into museums.
