Most commonly seen configured as a “Souvenir of Florida” featuring the Great Crest of Spain, emblematic of the founding of St. Augustine, Florida by the Spanish in 1565. A second version exists with the Spanish Crest replaced by a depiction of a black man carrying a large basket of cotton and text reading “Souvenir of New Orleans”.
