On the front of this stein is the great crest of Spain, emblematic of the founding of St. Augustine, Florida by the Spanish in 1565. St. Augustine is the oldest continually surviving city in North America, and the large stone replica of the crest at the city�s Castillo de San Marcos is a Florida landmark.
Variation replaces �Florida� with �Jacksonville� (below right).
