The wrap-around decoration on this stein depicts a late 19th century tavern scene and was created by Mettlach artist Charles van Zudert. The lid inlay symbolizes the transatlantic friendship between the German host chapter, Mettlach Steinzeugsammler, and American-based Stein Collectors International.
At a scheduled post-convention tour stop in Munich, attendees were treated to a �Streetcar Beerparty� where they were given another, albeit unofficial, drinking vessel, this time in the form of a half-liter stoneware mug with transfer decoration.
