“Xantippe and Socrates”

Socrates was a Greek philosopher who lived between 470-399 B.C. Xantippe was his shrewish wife whose name has come to mean any shrew, or scolding, brawling woman. In this humorous depiction of their relationship, Xantippe is seen fetching Socrates from a bowling alley.
